Pure Organic Snacks and Pure Food Cookbook Review

By Jenny Steadman August 12, 2016
Product was provided to me for review. Opinions are strictly my own.

It's back-to-school time and, like many parents, I struggle with providing my kids with quality whole foods that will fuel their day without the inconvenience of needing to make everything myself. That's why when Pure Organic asked if I would be interested in reviewing some of their products I said, "of course!"

I love Pure Organic's story because it's something that, as a parent, I can relate to - supporting my children. When Veronica's 6-year-old daughter, Anna, decided she wanted to be a vegetarian, Veronica knew she needed to support and help create a kitchen that would allow her daughter to succeed. This is where Pure Organics got its start, when Veronica started making clean and nutritionally balanced food for her daughter (who is now 17, by the way). Pure Organic products are USDA-certified organic, GMO-, soy-, dairy- and gluten-free, as well as kosher.

Now, thanks to Veronica, we can all have clean and nutritionally balanced convenience foods for our whole family! The Pure Organic line of snacks includes Fruit & Nut Bars, Ancient Grain Bars, Fruit & Veggie Leathers and Fruit Sandwiches. We received a sampling of each and enjoyed all of them! My girls are particularly fond of the Fruit Sandwiches and the chocolate flavored bars. (No surprise there!)

If you are looking for something more than snacks and doing some of your own cooking, then, by all means, look for Veronica's cookbook, Pure Foods: Eat Clean with Seasonal, Plant-Based RecipesOrganized by season, these recipes feature whole foods and are all vegetarian. There are also tips throughout the book like waste-free lunch, cooking with tofu, making your own lip balm and sea salt versus table salt.

I can't wait to make my way through the book and create these delicious meals!
