Striiv Smart Pedometer

Review and Givaway to Striiv for MORE!

By Kiley Sabatino & Strive Press May 18, 2012
I turned on my new Striiv right before I took the dog for a walk.  I figured it would be a good time to log my steps.  It was after I returned home, put the dog’s leash down, and took my shoes off that I began to grasp the point of this device.  As I observed the number of steps I took around the kitchen, to the laundry room, and back, upstairs, downstairs…etc., I got it!  It’s not to measure the amount of steps you’re already taking, stairs you’re already climbing, or calories you’re already burning.  The point is to motivate you to do MORE!  My competetive spirits kicked in and I wanted to do more, and more, and more!  I can see how this can become very addicting (in a good way!)

Here’s the scoop, right from the source (Striiv Press:)

The Striiv Smart Pedometer is a small, convenient device that is always on and fits into any budget or outfit, accurately tracking steps, distance, calories, stairs and minutes of activity throughout the day.
Striiv motivates everyday people juggling family and work to take control of their health by tapping into the single most accessible activity most people can do to lose weight, prevent heart disease, diabetes, stroke and more: walking. Whether walking to lunch or up the stairs, Striiv transforms any activity into an opportunity to get fit, give back, and have fun – making it a healthy addiction that early numbers have proven.

On average, Striiv users are:
•    Walking nearly 90 minutes per day
•    Logging 3 miles per day
•    Averaging 12 flights of stairs every day
•    Checking in on their Striiv every day and monitoring their activity, even 12 weeks after starting to use the device!

A key feature that sets Striiv apart is its Activity Motivation System. Striiv learns a user’s behavior and then encourages activity via personalized challenges and goals, games, and donation opportunities – all powered by walking.

One can simply press “on” and start Striiving, OR the device can be synced to your computer to further track your activity and easily follow progress.  So, who wants to try for themselves?  I’ve got one to give away to a reader who will Striiv (and stride!) for more!  Let me know in a comment below why you want your own Striiv Smart Pedometer!  I’ll randomly pick a winner on June 1st.  For more information or to order your own, visit www.striiv.com.
