Who makes up your family?
James my husband, Emerson (5) Zoe (4) Koen (2) Oliver (6m) 

Briefly, tell us your struggles.  
I have basically been pregnant the last 6 years. When my last baby was 3-months-old, I still had only lost his birth weight. My husband had been working hard by going to the gym and eating healthier. I knew I needed to do something!

What was the turning point that made you change the way you care for yourself?
I had been following friends and saw what worked for them. I knew I needed to change my eating habits and I wanted something that wasn't a quick fix but a lifestyle change. I have been so focused on my kids and husband and I knew it was time to do something for me!

What actions did you take to become healthier?
I started a new program and started to portion my food, cut out junk food, fast food and Diet Coke. I also started working out daily and doing hot yoga. 

How have you implemented (or plan to) your new habits with your family?
We had not been teaching out kids to eat the right foods, and now they are eating a lot more nutritious food and trying more things. We are hoping to do our first family 5k soon! 

In the last 3 months I am down 20lbs and 17 inches, my husband is down 43!
