Be Organized Box

Not all New Year’s resolutions have to do with physical health. Some of them have to do with your household and your mental health. I was excited when Chaos to Order reached out to me about their Be Organized Box because organization is a place where my entire family fails. The Be Organized Box gives you the tools you need to organize 2015 and start 2016 off fresh. The people at Chaos to Order help to break down the overwhelming task of organizing into doable steps and provide you with the tools you need to succeed.

The box includes: goal cards, trash and donate bags, archive stickers, to-do lists, a timer, file system and exclusive access to the membership section of the website so you can receive the expert advice you need to be successful! beorganizedbox.com.

Crackin’ Egg from Funtastic
My 5-year-old loves to make her own eggs. I love her independence and desire to learn to cook and help out the family, but... it makes me so nervous when she is by the stove and I need to hover over her. With Crackin’ Egg from Funtastic I don’t have that worry any more! She can make her own eggs and there is no flame involved. Crackin’ Eggs are a super fast (and fun) way to make and eat eggs as you’re rushing out the door.

Crackin’ Eggs is a kitchen gadget that enables you to cook eggs in the microwave in less than a minute. Crackin’ Eggs comes with recipe suggestions and even instructions on using it to make other things, like bacon, in the microwave. The outside of the container is insulated so it will never be hot to the touch. I have no worry about my 5-year-old reaching into the microwave and burning herself. The outside stays cool! Get some Crackin’ Eggs HERE and start having fun!

Notes from my 8-year-old: I really like it because it's a little easier than cooking on the stove and keep flipping the eggs and the eggs are just as good when you are on the stove. It's just a lot easier!

Kitchology
In my house we suffer from gluten, dairy and sugar sensitivities and while we have gotten used to cooking this way, it took some time to figure out how to do it and was not easy on our own. I sure wish the Kitchology app was available a few years ago. Lucky for you, it is available now! Kitchology makes it easy for app users to modify recipes to be sugar-free, low calorie, dairy-free and/or gluten-free.

Download Kitchology and set your profile for foods to avoid and the app searches a recipe index to match your criteria. From these recipes it creates shopping lists and even gives suggestions for problematic ingredients. Even better, the app is free! Also, the more you use the app, the more it learns about you and your preferences and can make recommendations specifically for you. Download the app from iTunes here to help grow the Kitchology community and get cooking. For more information, check out Kitchology’s website.

The Optimist Co.
Wellness and what you put in your body isn’t only about food and skin care. It’s also about toxins in your environment. What kind of cleaning products do you use? These affect the air you breathe as well and your skin. I give a lot of credit to the small businesses that are coming out with quality household cleaning products and The Optimist Co. is one of those companies. These natural cleaners clean just as well, if not better, than the harsh chemical versions and they are safe for everyone in your household, including small children and pets.

Just like you should be able to pronounce all of the food on a packaged ingredient list, you should also be able to pronounce the ingredients in your cleaning supplies. The Optimist Co. has created a chemical-free way to clean and you don’t need a chemistry degree to read the product labels! You can purchase pre-made products on theoptimistco.com as well as kits to make your own!
