Think Clearly: 21-Day Meditation Challenge

By Jenny Steadman March 13, 2015
If you have been reading Macaroni Kid Family Fitness for a while, you know I am a fan of meditation. I just may have mentioned it before here and here and then had to stop myself from mentioning it every month after. The thing is, meditating changed my life. I was never one of those yoga, get-back-nature types. I wanted to move fast and hard and sweat while I was at it!

Then I became a mom-of-two, started running a business out of my home and went back to school, which is leading to another business. How could I do it all without losing my mind? How could I be a good mom, a good wife, good to myself and run a productive business when my brain was going in a dozen different directions at a time? The answer is, I couldn't, and I can't.

Last year I learned about the 21-Day Meditation Challenge put on my Deepak Chopra and Oprah. These 21 days changed my life. My body was calmer. Things that used to stress me out rolled right over me. I could focus and was more productive in everything I did. It went on like this for months. Meditating literally changes your brain. Then, like it often does, life got in the way.

It's time for me to renew my commitment to myself and I would love for you to join me. The 21-Day Meditation Challenge is free and the next one starts March 16. Every day, for 21 days, you will receive an email with a link to a 20-minute guided meditation.

Leave a comment and let me know if you are going to sign up. Then come over to the Family Fitness Facebook page and we can share our experience together!

Bringing you peace, love and sanity.

Namaste,
Jenny
