Introducing Macaroni Kid Family Fitness!

Honestly, when we started chatting and putting feelers out about a sixth National Macaroni Kid newsletter (woohoo!) the topic was actually pretty obvious. Family Fitness. Fitness is important. Staying active is important. Fueling your body with healthy food is important. Teaching your kids to exercise and being active as a family is important.  All of these things make you, our Powerful Moms, even more powerful. But finding the time, effort, energy, will power, (and did we mention time?) to actually work out is tough (really tough) when you've got a million other things on your plate. We know that, but we also know that it's a must.

We’re just as passionate about fitness as we are at bettering your family’s quality of life. In our minds, the two go hand in hand. Our readers have told us that fitness tips, ideas for getting kids off the couch, great products and healthy foods resonate with Moms (and Dad's) across the country. Fitness and exercise undeniably improve your family; both on an individual level and as a group. Fitness creates an opportunity for family bonding through sports and activities. Fitness can make you a better, more powerful, more energetic, healthier, happier human being!

So, regardless of your current fitness level, whether you’re a professional athlete or haven’t stepped foot in a gym, there’s something in here for you. Macaroni Kid is going to get in shape. We’re going to undertake this mission together, and together, we plan to GET FIT!! We’re taking small steps to make big changes and we plan to support one another every step of the way. So, tie your sneaks and get movin’!
