They just have it down; they get it. Get what? There really is no secret to success; it’s about eating right, exercising, and dedication. Karena and Katrina provide a variety of new workouts, healthy recipes, yummy tips, and TONS of virtual support to their ‘community’ of followers. It’s about mixing it up, keeping it fun, eating food you actually like, and holding yourself accountable. These ladies definitely practice what they preach, look at them! (Yes, they’re really tall. And really nice!)
For me, the Tone It Up lifestyle means eating real food and exercising when I can. There’s nothing better for our bodies than eating raw, organic, fresh fruit, veggies, lean protein, healthy grains, and superfoods. With that said, it’s also healthy to allow ourselves to enjoy the occasional night out, mimosa at brunch, or much-needed chocolate fix. Right, K&K?!
Secondly, I love the variety of Tone It Up’s workouts, and the fact that regardless of how much time you have, even if it’s just five minutes, you can squeeze it in and ‘tone it up.’ They call for cardio in the morning to rev your metabolism and strength/toning later in the day. Cardio can be anything, from a half-hour walk to their high-intensity interval circuits. Tone It Up's New Beach Babe DVD includes seven workouts: from abs, arms, and booty to ‘Long and Lean’ stretching/yoga. They range from less than ten minutes (no excuses not to fit it in!) to about 45. The girls take you through the workout with them right on the beach, not too bad!
