Staying hydrated is so important. When I drink more water I sleep better, I eat better, I am less bloated, and for that reason I love carrying around a reusable water bottle. You can have something to drink any time you want and it's good for the environment, too. But, in the back of my mind, there is always the concern about chemicals from the plastic leaching into the water, especially water that has gotten warm sitting in the hot car or sun.

When Faucet Face asked if I would review one of their glass water bottles, I jumped at the opportunity! I mentioned it to a friend and they said, "why would you want a glass water bottle?!" It's a good question. They break more easily and are heavier to carry, but the benefits are undeniable.

The most noticeable difference is that the water tastes fantastic! I hadn't noticed the flavor that a plastic bottle adds to water. My regular tap water tastes crisp and refreshing. I take my Faucet Face bottle in the car and I'm not worried about leaving it to get hot in the sun. To find out even more about the benefits of glass, check out the great graphic and video on Faucet Face's Why Glass? page.

I was surprised by the size of the bottle when it arrived. It is shorter and heavier than I expected. It's solid and feels strong. This isn't a take-to-the-gym kind of water bottle. It's great for around the home and office. We were just on a road trip and I kept it in the car for fresh water during the long drive.

Want another great reason to purchase a Faucet Face water bottle? Each bottle bought helps provide a minimum 100 liters of clean water for families in India. Learn more about the 1 for 100 campaign here.
