What is your name and what town are you from?  

Laura Davis, Reading, PA

Who makes up your family?  

My husband, 2 grown sons and 4 grandkids

Briefly, tell us your struggles.    

I had been overweight all of my life. I struggled and dieted back and forth and was never able to stay healthy... until SABA (a wellness company) entered my life. I have more energy now at 50, than I did in my 30s. I keep up with my grandkids and that's very important to me!

What was the turning point that made you change the way you care for yourself?  

In January 2013 I was feeling frumpy and blah from the holidays. I went to the doctor to get lab test results and the doctor suggested adding more medications to support by bad health. I knew I had to do something. I want to be around for my grandkids.

What actions did you take to become healthier?

I followed the SABA plan given to me by a friend. I was wary at first but through natural supplements I started to see results. This only inspired me to work harder! I cut out bad fats and got in exercise through daily walks.

How have you implemented (or plan to) your new habits with your family?

Good health starts by what you put into your body. I used the plan that came with the product. I got support, cooking and recipe tips from fellow associates and friends. I always get my walk in because it is very important to keep moving. I bought a fitness tracker to challenge myself, set goals and gain rewards. It helps to stick with like-minded people to develop better health habits. I have done 5k races since my 60 pound weight loss!
