Hula Hooping: It's Not Just For Kids!

I usually get up early, before the rest of the house, so I can exercise by myself. Despite good intentions, this doesn’t always happen and I usually end up with a young visitor who ends up derailing the work I’m trying to do. Because of this, I am always looking for new and creative ways to exercise at home that little ones can join in on.

The latest craze in my house? Hula hooping. I love hula hooping! Who wouldn’t want to do a full body workout that focuses on the waistline and is totally fun? And the kids can do it too!

When solo, I often catch up on a television show and just swing my hips until I can’t stand it any more. Other times, I search YouTube for instructional and workout videos, like these.

Hula hooping is a great exercise that people may not think to do and it’s not just for kids! If you really want to get into it, look for a hooping class in your hometown.
